Carlow/Mayo Township has two Community Centre’s located within its boundaries, each offering; a ball diamond, playground area, horseshoe pits and outdoor privy’s for activities/events.

Each location also offers free Wifi access inside the building and parking lots!

  • Carlow Community Centre

    1702 Fort Stewart Road

    Home of the annual “Fort Stewart Jamboree”, Carlow Community Centre is located in the hamlet of Fort Stewart and offers a full kitchen, washrooms, stage and spacious area for private events.

    The large outdoor area provides individuals with various scenic views of the Boulter Hills to enjoy all year long.

  • Mayo Community Centre

    66 Mayo Lake Road

    Home of the annual “Carlow/Mayo Wildlife Dinner” and the “Little Mississippi Seniors Club”, Mayo Community Centre is located in McArthurs Mills. This Centre has a large open area, stage, washrooms and a full kitchen.

  • The Little Mississippi Seniors Club

    Has been a part of our Community since 1971, a non-profit organization operating out of the Mayo Community Centre, hosts a variety of activities and events for its members all year long.

    The Little Mississippi Seniors Club welcomes new memberships once seniors become 50 years of age or older. To learn more information please contact Gordon Douglas at 613-332-8231.

  • Mark’s Buddy Bench

    Through generous donations from community members and Baseball for Dad, our community centres are honoured to have a Mark’s Buddy Bench.

    Baseball for Dad is a non-profit organization that brings awareness to mental health. In honour of Mark Snider, the Buddy Bench is designed and built to promote kindness, friendship and inclusivity.
